Senior Project Manager

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITY

• Work closely with team leads to form a team to work on a project
• Work closely with other team members to identify required resources and take action to acquire them
• Manage customers’ satisfaction by reporting on project status, risks, estimates for the remaining work and next steps
• Work closely with the Business manager to report on project KPI (costs, time, quality)
• Use tools such as redmine to provide accurate information for reporting and estimates
• Work closely with Business Analysts to identify and prioritize valuable deliverables for the client
• Get estimates from the team and organize work to fit within the customer’s target delivery date
• Organize the work according to the critical path into tasks and assign them to adequate team members
• Plan regular iterations to deliver early and often to the client to get feedback and show progress
• Use tools such as redmine to track tasks accurately
• Motivate the team with regular feedback
• Resolve any issues raised by the team that might impact the project
• Help the team focus on the work by setting clear deadlines and attend any blocking issues
• Help the team analyze problems and find solutions by leading regular retrospectives
• Defines, measures and optimizes Project Management methodology/practice for onshore and offshore models
• Assist team managers in evaluating team members’ performance for annual reviews
